Ben Winter is a Creative Director. After completing a Fine Art degree in South Africa, he worked for TBWA, FCB and Tequila as an integrated Art Director before immigrating to the UK to join Tequila London. He was invited by the managing partners to be part of a brand start-up agency, 23red, where he then worked as a senior creative for 6 years. In 2007, Ben was hired as the Creative Director and Managing Partner of boutique digital agency Target Online, before becoming the Digital Creative Director for Digital and Direct (DAD) in 2009. 

Ben built the digital creative department at DAD from the ground up and was instrumental in winning some of the biggest digital accounts in the industry, whilst overseeing 20 digital creatives to deliver digital solutions for Sky, Lucozade, GSK, Vodafone, LG, Natwest, BA, Barcalys, Harley-Davidson, Siemens, HTC, Callaway and Thomas Cook. 

In 2011 DAD was acquired by SapientRazorfish (previously SapientNitro) and Ben was charged with driving the growth and creative management of the company’s social studio and leading campaigns across print, TV and digital for brands like Sky TV, British Airways and Harley-Davidson. Ben’s focus is still in all things digital and social, working across brand and sales marketing to deliver a broad range of integrated creative ideas, digitally focused platforms and social experiences which create real impact. 

Ben is a guest lecturer at The Birmingham Institute of Art and Design and The University of Arts London. He is also a mentor at the School of Communication Arts 2.0. 
His work on Harley-Davidson’s Greatest Rides recently won ‘Best in Show’, along with a number of other accolades, at the OMMA Awards, as well as prizes at The Drum Content Awards and Digital Impact Awards 2016.
