Emma is a B2B commercially-focused marketing leader, with a proven track record in SaaS and startup marketing. She creates and inspires cross-functional, global teams, while influencing and building deeper customer relationships using multi-channel and personalised engagement programmes. A passionate content marketer, she first found her ‘content marketing feet’ in The Hague, working on the first ever publication from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons!
Skip forward 20 years, and she is the head of marketing for Dropbox in the UK, designing, developing and managing the end to end marketing strategy for the region, all initiatives across multiple customer segments and drives brand awareness and adoption of consumer and enterprise products in the UK marketplace. She coordinates and oversees regional go to market, brand positioning, market and customer intelligence, campaign management, product communication, events and customer reference programmes.
Prior to her Dropbox role, Emma managed all the marketing, communications, customer and prospect content strategy, before leading the development of the multidisciplinary global field marketing organisation at NewVoiceMedia, having responsibility for EMEA, APAC and NAmer. She has a strong interest and expertise in marketing/sales tech having been deeply involved in the establishment of automated demand generation activities, including lead scoring and priority/propensity models. She went on to complete her tenure at NewVoiceMedia as the Regional Vice President of Corporate Marketing, taking brand guardianship, messaging and narratives to the global market.
Emma has also served as the Market Engagement Manager for North West Europe at PE International (now thinkstep), and European Marketing Director at ENVIRON, responsible for the local brand awareness and sales enablement of global corporations in regional growth markets.
Outside of work, Emma has held several committee positions in not-for-profit organisations and charities, including NCT, Thatcham Vision (local town plans), Fairtrade and many learning and youth initiatives. She enjoys using the Dropbox for Good initiative of being able to share support and Dropbox Business licenses with charities. To date, she has worked with TeenTech (Maggie Philbin’s charity promoting innovation in STEM subjects to schools) and SpecialEffects Twin Town Challenge, which saw Dropbox driving from Oxfordshire to Le Touquet in France - raising money for severely disabled children and young adults to enable them to socialise and interact through gaming.
