Gemma is Content Director at digital consumer intelligence company Brandwatch where she manages a team that strives to create an excellent content experience for readers and a big business impact. This involves turning consumer insights into valuable data stories that marketers and insights professionals want to know about, and creating content that supports clients as they mature in the field.
Gemma graduated in 2015 from the University of Exeter where she studied Philosophy and Sociology and edited the student newspaper Exeposé. She’s since trained as an NCTJ-certified journalist, and was named Student of the Year in 2018.
Joining Brandwatch in late 2015 as a Social Data Journalist, Gemma started out writing stories around pop culture and generating record-breaking traffic for the Brandwatch blog. She’s since worked as Blog Editor and Content Manager, helping to bring millions of readers to the site each year, and now shapes the direction of content at the company."
